The Polonia Palace Warsaw receives the Heritage Luxury Award 2022

The Polonia Palace Hotel, a historical emblem located in the very center of Warsaw, receives the European Hotel Award distinction in the “Heritage Luxury Hotel 2022” category. A true icon of the Polish hospitality industry, the Polonia Palace Hotel turned 109 this year.

During the prestigious European Hotel Awards evening held on Monday October 10, 2022 in Geneva in the luxurious Fairmont Grand Hotel Geneva, 11 distinctions were awarded to the elite of the European hotel industry. The European Hotel Award in the “Heritage Luxury Hotel 2022” category for the Polonia Palace Hotel was received by Paweł Lewtak, CEO.

This distinction as historic hotel of the year 2022 is a recognition not only for all the employees of the Polonia Palace hotel, but also for all the generations of hoteliers who have built its reputation and its prestige over the decades – said Pawel Lewtak, general manager of the hotel after receiving the award, as well as chairman of the board of directors of Hoteli Warszawskie “Syrena”

The European Hotel Awards are prizes awarded by the foundation created by Jérôme Chapman. Journalist who has been following trends continuously for almost a quarter of a century and sharing information related to the premium segment of the hotel and restaurant industry. The Foundation is featured in the magazine Références Hôteliers Restaurateurs International.

The jury for the award includes hoteliers, restaurateurs, renowned European chefs and stakeholders in the luxury tourism sector. One of the main strengths of the European Hotel Awards is the institutional recognition of exceptional hotels and leading European professionals. Each year, around ten prizes are awarded at the European Hotel Awards ceremony.

The European Hotel Awards gala is organized in the main European cities known for their hotel traditions. Among the candidates for the European Hotel Awards, only four and five star hotels are selected which stand out on the European market for their competence, their professionalism and their extraordinary concern for customer satisfaction.

During the ceremony, outstanding personal and professional achievements in the fields of hospitality, gastronomy and luxury tourism are also recognized.
