In the elegant atmosphere of the VIP lounges of the Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva, the members of the jury of the European Hotel Awards have chosen Luis Casqueira to receive the Hotel Manager of The Year 2019 trophy Thus Luis Casqueira is one of the privileged winners of the 2019 promotion of this annual institutional trophy. During the European Hotel Awards 2019 ceremony, officially sponsored by Champagne Collet, and presented by Grace Williams and Jérôme Chapman, President and founder of the European Hotel Awards by References, the winner Luis Casqueira was honored by Vincent Schaffner, designer of the bronze sculpture of the European Hotel Awards.

Luis Casqueira is a seasoned professional: After studying administration and management from 2010 to 2012, he obtained his Master in Business Administration (MBA-SEG – Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão, Portugal). Subsequently, he put his skills at the service of the Tivoli group through Tivoli hotels & resorts – minor international hotels & resorts (2010 – 2017) and Tivoli avenida da liberdade 5*, in Lisbon.
It is from the year 2017 that he takes the position of hotel manager in the group Memmo Unforgettable Hotels where he manages with talent successively several hotels: Memmo Principe Real 5 * and Memmo Principe Real 5* & Memmo Alfama. His skills in human relations allow him to be an excellent manager appreciated by his staff and the chic clientele who frequent these two hotels.
